FCC Paragon partners with Labrador as part of new online support package for tenants and agents
FCC Paragon has over 30 years’ experience in the lettings industry and has just launched MyMoveIn, an online platform that supports a tenant’s home move process by assisting with the setup of utilities, services and notifications, whilst simultaneously creating the opportunity for multiple revenue incomes for letting agents.
With the upcoming tenancy fee ban affecting agents and landlords, there is a real demand for ways to offset lost income without penalising tenants or landlords. Via the referencing process, letting agents and landlords can direct their tenants to FCC Paragon’s MyMoveIn platform, where they can access free services such as links to their local council tax department, water/waste providers and HMRC, easing the stress of the move-in process.
Alongside this, MyMoveIn offers a growing number of other products/services to support tenants’ move, such as no deposit insurance, contents insurance and exclusive media and broadband packages through partnerships with Virgin and Carphone Warehouse. They offer competitive prices to tenants and commission earning opportunities for letting agents.
As part of the MyMoveIn service, FCC has agreed an exclusive partnership with one of the UK’s leading Smart switching services, The Labrador, which constantly monitors the energy market for the best deals and tariffs and will automatically switch tenants whenever a better deal is found.
Tenants visiting the MyMoveIn platform can sign up to The Labrador for free and the device will notify when a significant saving can be made by switching supplier (even taking into account any early termination fees). It gives the tenant complete freedom to pick and choose their energy provider. In addition, The Labrador will automatically co-ordinate the switch over on the tenant’s behalf (subject to the customers agreement) ensuring they never overpay on energy again and taking away the hassle of the actual switching process.
MD Bryn Cole said “We know in the current environment agents are searching for options and new opportunities to maximise profitability, despite the upcoming obstacles in the rental market.
By using and promoting the MyMoveIn platform to their tenants and landlords, agents can benefit from a whole new income stream whilst offering products and services to tenants that have real integrity and offer genuine savings. The Labrador service, for example, reviews a vast number of energy providers for the best deals. So, the customer is not forced to go with a specific supplier, unlike some home move assistants out there which do not give that freedom”.
